What a fabulous location for a venue! The Worcester Art Museum in Worcester Mass is an incredible space for a non-traditional wedding. Sarah and Wayne opted not to have a formal dinner, but rather cocktail style food stations whereby people could talk around and mingle (and also have the option to sit). They did have formal introductions, first dance, and parent dances. Since the space is so large and high, the acoustics weren't great, so it was really important to use a video microphone for the speeches, other wise they would have sounded very hollow.
Overall it was a wonderful venue for a non-traditional wedding and a very cool space. Sarah and Wayne not only celebrated their love, but also bringing their families together, so there were a lot of group hugs!
The ceremony took place at Baptist Church on Park Avenue, Worcester.
